About
Urantia TL;DR
Conceived as a 5 season streaming docu-series, Urantia TL;DR sets out to show the transcendent vision of The Urantia Book to those who will never pick it up to read themselves; they either don’t like reading, or just don’t have the time.
For the first time in history we have been given a view of the great canvas upon which all of finite reality has been painted. That view is finally large enough to give us real answers to many of the biggest questions that have perplexed humanity since we emerged.
Who Is God? Why do we exist? What is the purpose of it all, and where do I fit into that? Why do evil and suffering exist? What happens when we die? Are we alone, or are there other civilizations out there? Who is Jesus, and why is he so important? Is it possible to reclaim history lost to the mists of time and legend? Who was Melchizedek? Who were Adam & Eve and were they really the first humans? Why are things so messed up here?
Why does bacon taste so good?
That’s a lot of questions! Stepping back to see the biggest vision of reality we have been given so far, we are finally able to see not only the answers to these questions, but to see how and where they fit into that vast, majestic grand adventure of reality that we are all playing our part in; consciously or unconsciously.
Urantia TL;DR is going to take the broad strokes of that vision, and show you what it is. Show you what it’s all about; why we’re here and what we are supposed to be doing.
Then you can take that vision, let it percolate, maybe even let it integrate; and then, as always, your choices are yours to make.
What is The Urantia Book?
The Urantia Book is the 5th in a series of epochal revelations of universal truth to our planet, which is known to the rest of the inhabited universe as, “Urantia”. If living on our planet came with a manual, this would be it.
Where can I find out more information about something I saw in an episode or the supplemental content?
The first place we will always point you is to the Book itself. There is SO MUCH MORE information within the pages of the Book than you will find in any of the episodes or supplemental content.
That said, our target audience is those who don’t like to read or just don’t have the time. You are always free to contact us, and we will do our best to either help you ourselves, or to point you in the right direction.
Where can I watch it?
The Urantia TL;DR series will be available to watch at Channel 606 on the Hubcast Network streaming platform.
Supplemental content will also be available at Channel 606. This will include, biographical interviews with our expert speakers, discussion panels, and aftershows.
Promotional content is available here on the website, the YouTube Channel, and Facebook for now…
Will this series be available in my language?
A series about a global revelation pretty much requires translations into other languages. We will be adding languages based on interest generated and the number of requests we receive. This is due to budgetary restraints and the time it takes not only to create subtitles, but to localize each episode’s on screen text.
What does TL;DR mean?
TL;DR is a commonly used acronym on the internet for “Too Long; Didn’t Read”. It is the perfect description for the target audience of this series: those who don’t like to read or don’t have the time.
Will you do an episode about the history and origin of The Urantia Book?
Probably not. Most introductions to The Urantia Book always start with its history and origins. There are already many good introductions available for those who are curious to watch.
The purpose of this series is to skip over the stumbling blocks of its origin and its 2100 page length, to just get on with showing everyone what it actually says.
If we do end up doing an episode about its origin and history, it will most likely be during the final season towards the end.
When can I watch it?
The Pilot episode, “The Gift of Perspective” was released in November 2025. Production will then go into initial interviews and trying to secure funding for the first season. The first season is now in production, with consecutive seasons to follow after that.
I would like to get involved. How do I get in touch?
Thank you!! This is a big project and one that will depend on the support of the wider community. Please get in touch through the website.
